Etta-ism

Just a new list of Etta-isms

Etta is so funny lately!  She has picked up a few new words and mannerisms.

For example when she wants something to eat, she now says "Num Nums..."  Then she points to the item she wants be it drink or food, and says "Ahhhhhh..."  with her mouth wide open until she gets it.  Then if it is a drink for example and she is done, she will push it away and say Bye bye, to make sure we know she is done.

If she thinks we aren't listening, she grabs both our cheeks to make sure we are looking in her eyes and then repeats what she is excited about and directs our attention to it.

She is great at fake laughing with us.

Sometimes not always when I hang up from the phone I will say Goodbye.  And she will say Goodbye too.

She LOVES bubbles and we usually blow bubbles at her in the backyard or during bath time.   So now when we say lets take a bath she immediately says "Bu-bu-ahs"

When it is time for her to go to bed and has had her milk when she thinks it is time for you to just put her down already she will say "Go".  She also does this at night if for some reason she wakes up and we go in to comfort her, we will hold her for a while and suddenly she will say "Go" and sit up and point to her crib, cuz she wants to go back to sleep.  Could she be more perfect?

Oh she is slightly more whiny lately though, but in a cute way, she will hold her hands palms up and fingers out, touching together and the wrist with the most pathetic espression til you pick her up.

She is also getting really good at saying and differentiating between Mama and Daddy and saying the words very clearly.

She is finally saying the second syllable in Buddy But it is without the D so it sounds like buh-ee.

She says "Oh" perfectly.
